I began MW Structural Designs through a desire to offer a personal design consultancy service centred around domestic home improvement in my local area, giving comprehensive advice on the process of developing projects both simple and complex.
Since graduating from The University of Surrey, I have worked extensively within the construction industry. My experience has covered a wide variety of building projects across domestic, commercial, and educational sectors. Including new builds and refurbishments of historic projects including agricultural barn conversions. The sizes of project have ranged from domestic extensions or loft conversions to multi million-pound developments, utilising all common structural materials and several modern methods of construction. I have formed good working relationships with several local Architects, Contractors, and Developers.
We used MW structural Designs to do the building regulation calculations for a 2-storey extension. They were very attentive during the planning process advising on what could be achieved and provided a set of calculations and drawings that our builder could follow to complete the build. I have recommended MW Structural Designs to others because of this.
